The ABC Cancer Diaries

A young, American-Born-Chinese woman living with metastatic breast cancer

About May 10, 2008

This blog is about being Chinese-American, young, and having metastatic breast cancer. It’s a creative outlet  for some of the ideas, thoughts, causes, and obsessions that fill my mind.

Hello. I came across your blog through a search I did of stage IV breast cancer and surrogacy. I was thrilled to read that you sucessfully had a child even after being diagnosed as stage IV. I thought I was the only woman in the world consiering this. I am 29, diagnosed 3 years ago as stage IV and I desperately want a child. I have been happily married for 5 years and my husband and i have discussed going ahead with surrogacy. I would love to speak with you about your experience since your the only other stage IV person I’ve come across who has attempted this. Thank you so much….just reading your story has given me hope…and Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
